Digital & ICT Strategist & Programme Director with over 25 years’ board-level experience in delivering digital and ICT strategy & transformation programmes with associated financial, resource and change management.
I act as the communication bridge between business & technology, providing leadership in the identification, procurement & delivery of strategic digital services to improve performance, mitigate risk & promote efficiency.

Digital strategy & services delivery: Equality Act-compliant interfaces; usability evaluation; Customer requirements gathering to BS 13407; information management; analytics & business intelligence.
Cyber Security: ISO 27001, certified in cyber (CISM, CISMP). Secure encrypted telecommunications including mobile and satellite communications. Data security, information assurance. SC-cleared security clearance.
Web: strategy and site development; web analytics; transactional web services, content management systems. Integrating extranet, intranet, web and mobile application solutions for multi-platform public service delivery.
IT: strategy development; system auditing (certified auditor - CISA); WAN, LAN, public sector secure networks (SWAN, Scottish Police Network ); network analytics; ICT Governance to BS 15000, ITIL and CoBIT standards.

eHealth: Software development with NHS clinicians for patient flow, hospital bed management. Stakeholder management and training; business process analysis. Risk Management: project & corporate; assessment, risk appetite, maturity models; mitigation and controls.
Public sector: digital & ICT programme manager and technical consultant to the Scottish Government, the Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Ambulance), NHS, SEPA, SNH, SFC.
Programme management: (PRINCE2, MSP and Agile) on multi-million pound budgets over full project lifecycle including governance, budget control, change management and stakeholder engagement.
